As you know, I love Pinterest. In fact, I love it so much I added a little widget thingie over to the side. Say hi to my recent pins.

This has really revved up my creative engine and gotten me out of the tech-box of my computer. Blogging and writing is fun and I love it, but give me some paint and glue and I am one happy chickadee.

So, I have recently discovered pizza box art. I know – sounds strange, right?

Well, it is a super cheap way to create art for the house especially since my local pizza places are giving me the pizza boxes for free. And what do I love more than painting? FREE STUFF! Oooh baby – making FREE Art speaks to all kind of happy’s in my little cheapo-craft-making-world.

Anyway – I am ranting – might be the extra cup of coffee I just drank at 11:45 (yikesarama!).

But this little pin above is something I love and I am going to use a small pizza box for each letter and do a collage piece for the kid’s playroom. It will probably take some time to put this sucker together, but I will keep you posted.

Now off to round up 26 pizza boxes.

And yes . . . just in case you wondered . . . my husband thinks I’m a little nutty when it comes to all this artsy stuff. But I don’t care. This is how God made me.
